Aleta Tanner (Morrison)

Aleta Jean Tanner Morrison 1949 ~ 2009 Aleta Jean Tanner Morrison returned home to her Heavenly Father on December 22, 2009. She passed peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy battle with illness and complications arising from diabetes.She is preceded in death by her father; Arthur M. Tanner and her sister, Cassie Madsen. She is survived by her husband Scott P. Morrison, her mother; Dauna Tanner, seven siblings, three daughters; Tami Morrison, Esther (Matt) Burningham, and Lee Ann (Allen) Jones, and five grandchildren. Aleta Tanner was born in Provo, Utah on July 28th, 1949 to Arthur and Dauna Tanner. She married Scott on August 30, 1973 and was sealed in the Provo temple on December 21, 1974. Family was very important to Aleta, she loved to spend time with all of her family. She loved to make things with her hands, whether it was music or crochet. She made several altar cloths for the Ogden Temple.

Who would have ever thought that crazy English class would have spawned a marriage. I rember Scott and Aleta in the class but I didn't see any sparks fly - must have happened later.
