Don P. Smith, 62, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at Davis Hospital. Don was born April 3, 1949 to Nora Porter and Asahel E. Smith in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised in Kaysville, attended schools in Davis County, graduating from Davis High School. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Don joined the United States Navy and served in Vietnam. Don left the Navy with an honorable discharge. He worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Don is survived by one daughter, Catreena D. (Micah) Bastron and three beautiful and special granddaughters, Mikhayla, Baylee and Breanna of North Ogden,
