Former Valley Girl is Utah Accident Victim
A former Star Valley girl, Julie Ann Kennington, 20, daughter of Mr and Mrs A.R. (Goldie) Kennington Jr. now of Layton, Utah was one of three persons killed Saturday, Dec 13 in a flaming head-on crash on U.S. 89-91 in front of the Perry Ward LDS Chapel in Box Elder County. A fourth person was critically injured.
Crash victims besides Miss Kennington were Danny Crossley 24, South Willard a driver and Steven Jon Harper, 21, of Ogden. Miss Kennington and Mr Harper were passengers in the southbound Crossley car. The other driver, in his northbound vehicle, was Dennis Huggins, Bear River City. He was hospitalized at Ogden.
Trooper richard Naylor, Utah Highway Patrol said Mr Crossley and Miss Kennington were thrown from their car, but Mr Harper was trapped and burned beyond recognition.
Miss Kennington was the oldest daughter of Goldie and Ruth Kennington.
