Nancy Hatch (Miller)Nancy Hatch Miller died suddenly of an acute attack of asthma at her home in Salt Lake City, September 12, 1994.

Nancy was born August 11, 1949 in Salt Lake City to William B. and Dorothy Taylor Hatch. Nancy graduated from Davis High School, the University of Utah, and earned a master's degree in medieval history also from the University of Utah. She had an interest in psychology, mythology and symbolism, and had studied under the late Joseph Campbell.Nancy was a scholar and a spiritual mentor, inspiring many of her students to pursue not only formal education but self-enlightenment when she was a teacher at Judge Memorial High School. Nancy was presented with the Teacher of the Year award by the University of Utah in June 1994. Nancy married Robert Miller on November 14, 1975.
